Improvisational music is very diverse and poses many exciting challenges for me. Sometimes time I can add my own improvisations to a composition, and at other times I only take the theme or the harmony process as given - but I also play completely unbound improvisations.
Today's improvisational music styles give me many additional possibilities in the area of interpretation: I can make the flute sound more organic with the help of the beatbox, with my own vocal cords or with the unusual use of air.
The audience of my jazz, pop, underground, convention-free and progressive performances sometimes consists of ten to fifteen, and at other times three to five thousand people, varying in age from young children to seniors. Overall, improvisation is one of the most exciting areas of my performing and creative artistic work.
